Historical goblet of supporters of the democratic Patriot movement in Amsterdam with a lengthy toast dedicated to Hendrik Hooft Danielsz. (1716-1794) Patriotic (democratic) Burgomaster of the city of Amsterdam with a wheel engraving of his portrait with a Keeshond (symbol of the democratic movement). On the other side the coat of arms of Amsterdam with the date 1789.
