Tea cup and saucer decorated with a painting of flowers and festoons

The bowl-shaped cup and saucer both stand on a
conical rim.
The blue overglaze decoration shows six floral fes-
toons on the cup, and ten on the saucer. In the cup and
in the middle of the saucer is a flower. The outside of
the saucer is undecorated.
The gilding is very refined, which is probably why
both saucer and cup bear a gilder’s mark on the un-
derside: B.
