A pattipan decorated with a painting in the Zwiebelmüster pattern

A four-lobed pattipan, with high borders, four tips
and wavy rim, standing on a conical foot rim. The
border has two bands of vertical incised lines, not
visible from the outside.
The pattipan has an underglaze blue decoration in
the pattern known as Zwiebelmüster. The outside is
undecorated.
It is worth noting that this is a shape identical to
that of a piece of Weesp porcelain: a pattipan held
by Leeuwarden’s Princessehof museum. The pro-
portions are the same, but the Weesp pattipan is
slightly larger and has no incisions (Trumpie 2007,
p. 135, cat.no. 10).
